In 2021, we were tasked with the PR campaign to help launch the company’s newest, and most ambitious, venture to date – +24 Academy, the UK’s first fully digital apprenticeship skills programme, supplying training providers, colleges and employers with all the tech tools they need to create the next generation of digital pioneers.
Cutting new ground in tech training, +24 needed to get the message out there, and they trusted Flex to deliver the publicity they needed. We set to work straight away, securing stellar coverage across all sections of the media to highlight Britain’s first fully-digital apprenticeship scheme.
Our client was thrilled with the results, their product appearing on a wide variety of news outlets, including the education sector press and specialised business pages, as well as local and national news, including FE News, Business View, Tech Register and BBC Lancashire.
This important coverage led to a huge amount of media interest in +24 Academy, on a wide scale, and resulted in +24 MD Dave Walker becoming a sought after expert for the media on the topic of bridging the digital skills gap. Dave has subsequently featured on several other national media outlets, including BBC Radio Five Live.
